Man Who Won Bar Fight at Go-Kart Track Offered Professional Racing Contract
After a brawl at Vice City's Palm Speedway Go-Kart Centre resulted in 34-year-old delivery driver Pete Murch briefly commandeering a race kart to flee the altercation, completing two full unauthorised laps at record pace, and jumping a barrier before disappearing into a parking lot, Murch was contacted this week by the Leonida Racing Academy to discuss "an immediate development pathway." Murch, who has no racing history and a suspended regular driver's licence, is described by the Academy's director as having "the kind of natural line and raw aggression we can work with." He starts training Monday.
